MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS
Sensei
Terry Armsworth started wadokai in 1982. He has trained under many
Japanese instructors including Sensei Master Toru Arakawa (9th dan)
and Sensei Shingo Ohgami (7th dan).
Sensei
Armsworth is the chief instructor and chairman of Premier Karate-do
Wado-kai.
SENSEI DARREN WARNER, 3RD DAN
Darren started karate when he was 6 years old and he has trained
with many Japanese instructors.
He has won numerous trophies in kata and kumite at national and international levels, including European gold, silver and bronze medals.
SENSEI JAMES MORAN, 2ND DAN
James is the treasurer of Premier Karate-do Wado-kai. He also helps teach at many of our courses and clubs.
SENSEI LORNA LAWSON, 2ND DAN
Lorna started wado-kai karate in 2000. She has competed at European level and won medals at national level. She teaches at our Haslemere club and is the secretary for Premier Karate-do Wado-kai.
SENSEI
RYAN POWELL, 2ND DAN
Ryan helps teach at our Farnborough and Godalming clubs. He started karate when he was 12 years old and has competed in several international tournaments, including the European Championships.

SCOTT BUTLER, 2ND DAN
Sensei Scott started training in 2000 after his son started karate.
He now helps teach at our Godalming club.

SHERWOOD, 1ST DAN
Simon started training in 2000 and helps teach at our Farnborough club.
